This listing of or one of our newest escape room props! It comes fully assembled, and with all of the bells and whistles. The below video tutorial speaks for itself! We provide the electronics, and you make it your own. The five LED buttons are easily mountable, and everything plugs neatly into the board;. The game master powers the board up by turning the key-power switch on. At this point, all of the LED buttons will flash. This will continue until any button is pressed. At this point, the LED buttons will scroll a pretty pattern three times, and the on-board buzzer will bepp three times. This tells the game master to program in a five button combination. You can program in multiples of the same button, or one of each button. For example, you can press a combination of "Blue, blue, blue, white, yellow", or "Blue, yellow, red, green, white". Any combination of five will do, and this will be your deactivation code. After your code is programmed, the LED buttons will scroll again, and they all button LEDs will turn on and stay on. At this time, the game has begun!
The game master should create five puzzles within the escape room that tells the players what the code is. If the players inter in an incorrect code, the siren goes off for a moment, which indicates an incorrect password. After the siren turns off, the unit allows for the players to enter in a new code.
The electromagnet that is included is powered on as soon as you apply power. Once the correct combination is entered, electromagnet is turned off, and the players can open the cabinet that the lock is mounted to, or open the door that the lock is keeping shut. The game master has to press and hold the red and blue button at the same time to reset the program. The code will remain saved until you power it off. When you press and hold the red and blue buttons, the mag lock reactivates, and the LED buttons turn back on. The system then waits again for your programmed 5x digit combination.
There is also room for customization here. We can install a timer module for a fee (Please see our Betty 4,0 escape room bomb prop for a reference to the timer that would be used). We can also offer other customizations for a fee. We can work with you to make this prop perfect for your escape room!
If you purchase this base model, you will receive everything assembled and tested. You will receive a main control board, key-power module, a jumper, an electromagnetic lock with mounting hardware,a loud siren, all five buttons connected to the relative cable connectors, a 12v AC-DC wall adapter, and 2x keys for the key module. The siren has two mounting holes, and an optional doubled sided tape strip on the bottom. There are mounting holes on the main board, and the key module has a mounting nut. Also, the below video shows you how to mount the buttons to a fixture.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask! We would love to hear from you.
