This prop comes to you fully assembled, tested, and ready to use right out of the box! Upon plugging in the 12v 2A wall adaptor, and turning the power key to the ON position, all of the LED buttons will flash. Press any button to start the programming sequence. When you do this, all of the LED buttons will scroll, which indicates that you're now in program mode. Once the scrolling stops, all LEDs should stay on. At this time, program in a 20x digit sequence of buttons. You only have to do this once on power up. The code will be saved until power off. Once you've programmed in your 20x button combination, the buttons will scroll again, which indicates that you've properly programmed in your sequence.
If an incorrect combination is entered, the on board buzzer beeps nine times, and the siren turns on in parallel. If you wish to use the buzzer as the incorrect combination indicator, simply remove the siren from the siren jack on the main board. If you'd rather scare the beans out of your players, keep the siren plugged in. It is VERY loud. If you'd rather use the siren, but want to lower the siren volume, you can cover the front of the siren with a sock, and elastic band. This muffles the sound nicely.
When the correct 20x button combination is received, all LED buttons will turn off, and the magnetic lock will deactivate. To reset the program (all while keeping the same 20x button combination) simply press and hold the red and blue buttons for 2 seconds. You'll hear the relay turn off, and the magnetic lock will reactivate. Once this is done, the unit waits for another 20x button combination. The programmed combination is still in memory, and will stay there until power off.
