Please note that we can customise this set to suit your needs. The Video manual above shows the old version of the RFID reader software, but we've since upgraded the software of the RFID readers (Seen in the RFID programming manual video above), so that you can program, and re-program your own RFID cards into EEPROM memory with ease! We are also happy to answer any questions that you may have. Lastly, we can discount your order if you require less than 5x RFID readers. How this prop works:
This prop comes fully assembled and fully tested upon purchase. If customisation is required, then the lead time for the shipment of this prop is three business days.
1) Once you plug the included 12v 1A AC-DC wall adaptor into the main processor board, and all of the RFID readers are plugged into the main board via the included 1.5m long USB cables, you can program the included RFID cards into the EEPROM memory of each relative reader. Each reader can hold one card in memory, and the card data is saved even after power off. The RFID Programming Manual (Above) shows you how to easily program one card per reader. It only takes a minute for each reader. The blue LED on each reader will light up once a card has been programmed.
2) One all cards are programmed, remove power, and wait ten seconds. Once that is done, apply power again, and place all five programmed cards over each of the reader antennas. The electromagnetic lock will deactivate for ten seconds, and then it will re-energise. Again, we can customise the operation of this set, if you'd like for it to work differently.
3) If an incorrect card is placed on a reader antenna, then the red LED on the reader board will light up momentarily, which indicates the reader has read an incorrect card. Only when all five of the readers read their correct cards, will the electromagnetic lock disengage. The program is extremely simple to work with!
