This linear actuator prop can be used to open secret compartments, or open hidden doors... WITH LASERS! That's right! This set comes with three light sensor boards that are connected to the main control board. When lasers are focused on all three of these sensors, the linear actuator fully extends! How it works (Full Demo Video Above):
On power up, you have the option of controlling the linear actuator wirelessly with the wireless key-fob. This is explained in the video. At the same time, the unit is waiting for three laser beams to hit the three sensors on the external sensor boards. This set comes with a Tri-laser set that is powered by a single AC-DC wall adaptor. These lasers are installed in the three included adjustable mounts. When the players have all lasers aimed at the three sensors, the linear actuator is triggered. This will open the door or secret compartment. To reset the linear actuator back to the default pulled-in position, you can insert one of the two included keys into the key switch module that is connected to the main board, and turn right. This will bring the actuator back to the original position. If you don't turn the key back to the left (default position), the two LEDs on the main control board will flash until you do so.
